Today is the day the Lord has made.
Not you, not I—but God, in His sovereignty, has given us this day, this moment, this breath. We have been placed here on earth, in this time, not by accident but by divine purpose.
Let us walk together in discovery—not of our own plans, but of His. Let’s lean in with open hearts, ready to be captivated by the unshakable truth of His faithfulness, the richness of His goodness, and the gentle strength of His kindness.
Let’s be honest—get over yourself.
You and I? We don’t bring greatness to the table. We’re just jars of clay—fragile, flawed, and wholly dependent. The real power comes not from within us, but from the Holy Spirit, who stands ready to be poured out through us.
I don’t know about you, but I see myself in nearly every one of the people God used throughout Scripture:
Like Moses, I’ve chosen my own way even when I knew better.
Like Noah, I’ve had moments of great obedience—and moments of failure.
Like Abraham, I’ve tried to "help" God by taking matters into my own hands.
Like Peter, I’ve let fear get the best of me and reacted in ways I regret.
Like David, I’ve wandered where my eyes shouldn’t have gone.
Like Solomon, I’ve been swayed by my own desires and distracted by what doesn’t last.
And yet—God still used them.
It was never about their perfection. It was about God’s power working through surrendered vessels. He even spoke through a donkey to get His message across. So no, it’s not your greatness plus God that changes lives. It’s all God—His grace, His calling, His glory.
So stop waiting until you feel "ready" or "worthy."
Step out with what you’ve been given.
"Dirty water still puts out a fire". RH
I once had the opportunity to preach while I was in Bible school. I had prepared a message, but when the moment came—I froze. Fear got the best of me, and I backed out. I skipped class for the next three days, wrestling with disappointment in myself.
The sermon I had written was about something as simple as an apple—yet it carried a deeper message.
In your hands, the potential of an apple depends entirely on what you know and what you’ve experienced. To one person, it’s just a snack. To another, it’s a seed, a tree, a harvest, or even an orchard.
Its potential is limited by your vision.
But in God’s hands? There are no limits.
He knows everything about you. He designed you with purpose, on purpose. And through Jesus, He redeemed not just your life—but your full, God-given potential.
So here’s the real question:
How much potential do you have—not in your hands, but in His?
I’m just an ordinary guy, stepping out to share an extraordinary journey with God. Wild at Heart by John Eldredge stirred something deep in me—the courage to finally tell my story.
For years—decades, actually—I delayed. I made excuses. I tried to build things in my own strength. And honestly, I wrestled with the very idea of creating this site for… yes, 30 years.
But here’s the beautiful truth: God redeems time.
Troy Brewer’s powerful book, Redeeming Your Timeline, speaks right to that. If you’ve ever felt like you’ve missed your moment—read it. There’s hope.
So now, I’m choosing to stop running. To stop waiting. To believe.
Let’s taste and see what God can do when we simply trust Him and take the first step.
I firmly believe that Heaven, Earth—and yes, even Hell—are all paying attention when you choose to keep moving forward. There are people in your future who will one day thank you for not giving up today. Your perseverance now is paving the way for someone else's breakthrough later.
So grab your popcorn—because God isn’t finished with your story.
What feels like a mess today? He can turn it into a miracle.
What looks like a mistake? He can transform it into a blessing.
Because all things—every thing—work together for good to those who love Him.
Trust the process. Keep showing up. The ripple effect of your faith is greater than you know.
